Once again...

Once again, I am VERY behind on blogging. So much has happened since I last blogged (in September 2013). I will do a catch up post with a bunch of pictures, but for now, I need to capture something that Owen told us. Something that I am SURE we will want to pull out at a later date....

First a little background - Owen is a little heart throb at school. We have been told this by other parents, his teachers and the directors. All the girls LOVE Owen. For several months he has had a "girlfriend" named Averi. We have to distinguish that his girlfriend is "Averi with an i" so that she is not confused with our Avery.

A few weeks ago, this conversation occurred at home after dinner:
Owen: Averi and I are getting married.
Melissa: when are you two getting married?
Owen: When we are 18.
Clint: How about you double that, and wait until you are 36.
Owen: That's OLD! We are going to have four babies. They will be twins.
Melissa: Twins are two babies.
Owen: OK...we will have two twins.
Melissa: At the same time?
Owen: Yes.
Clint: OK...what will you name them?
Owen: Chloe, Zoe, Jason and Michael.
Melissa: Ah...two boys and two girls.
Owen: Yup.

Today, we received a relationship update. Owen and Averi are no longer getting married because, in Owen's words, "Averi is crushing on Luke. But that is ok since I still have a girlfriend....actually two girlfriends, Alessandra and Khloe.". Clint then told him it was probably best to only have one girlfriend. The look on Owen's face was priceless.
